| Resumen : | The objective of this study is to evaluate the current damage state of a sixteenth century colonial masonry structure, corresponding to an Augustinian temple. It consists of a nave and bell tower, which forms part of a Conventual located in Copándaro de Galeana, Michoacan. It is presumed that this building has large deformations and visible cracks due to the effect of differential settlement, seismic events, empirical structural adaptations, etc. The use of computer programs for analysis models will allow the incorporation of non linear thermodynamic materials for the study of the damage evolution of the structure. The results of this paper will allow to reproduce numerically the actual state of the structure and to make a structural diagnosis by identifying the most vulnerable areas to seismic risk. |
