Resumen: El siguiente trabajo presenta un diseño de material educativo, donde se relaciona la escuela y el museo para generar una propuesta con la temática de diversidad de especies, utilizando muchos de los recursos propios de los museos que faciliten un aprendizaje de los contenidos en el marco de la corriente constructivista, aplicando el ciclo didáctico de Jorba y Sanmartí (1996). Se procedió a desarrollar actividades de acuerdo a la estructuración propia del ciclo didáctico acerca del concepto de especie, especiación, biogeografía, taxonomía, algunos índices de diversidad de especies, cuidado y conservación de la diversidad biológica. Este material va dirigido a estudiantes de básica secundaria y a los docentes que imparten sus clases en esos grados de acuerdo a lo contemplado en los currículos de las Instituciones Educativas
Abstract: This work presents a educational material design, with relationship between the school and the museum for a proposal to the topic of diversity, using many of the resources of the museums that facilitate learning content in the context of current constructivist didactic applying Jorba cycle and Sanmartí (1996). We proceeded to develop different activities according to the teaching cycle structure itself on the concept of species, speciation, biogeography, taxonomy, some species diversity indices, care and conservation of biodiversity. This material is intended for elementary students and secondary teachers who teach their classes in those grades according to that provided in the curriculum of educational instituAbstract.
