| Resumen : | A sound knowledge of the composition and dynamics of the natural environment is a keystone for turning environmental management to the prevention of problems. This practive action allows to avoid irreversible losses and save high restauration and mitigation costs. Here we outline why the knowledge on the ecosystems, the vegetation and the plants is an important tool for the formulation of management policies as well as for the instauration of an integral and efficacious environmental management. |
