Resumen : | Processing and metals manufacturing, wastewaters effluents of Chemicals industries, pesticides and fertilizers in farms lands are responsibilities of soil contamination and surface and underground waters by ionic metals . The contamination of the environment by toxic metals poses a threat for “Man and biosphere”, reducing agricultural productivity and damaging the health of the ecosystem. In developed nations, this problem is being addressed and solved to some extent by using “green technology” involving metal tolerant plants, to clean up the polluted soils. Most important toxic metals ions in water for consumer human are Pb, Cd, Zn, Hg, Ag, Cu and Fe cations. There are several procedures which can be used to eliminated these are absorptions plants, biological, and physicochemical, such as precipitation, co precipitations electrodepositation, adsorption and many others In the present work is performed a comparative study related to absorption capacity of heavy metals in waste water using menta piperita and sunflowers plants, because of their high capacity to accumulate ions in hydroponics systems. For growth the plants on hydroponics beds, three kinds of supports are used red and black tezontle and clay, recirculation residual water for six weeks. After the plants are weighted, measured, analyzing metals content by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Results are showed for sunflowers and Menta Piperita plants in three supports using water and Waste water. In this work an experimental methodology was proposed in order to decreased number microorganisms in waste water using ozone gas |
