Sumario: |
This article aims to bring up preliminary observations on indigenous culture under the auspices of Information Science, in order to question the causes and consequences of the scarce presence of the theme in literature. Due to the essentially theoretical and almost essayistic substance of the article, the applied methodology consisted of a bibliographical survey (mainly in databases dedicated to Information Science, such as BRAPCI), reading and articulation of concepts. The results contemplate hypotheses that try to explain the absence of the indigenous culture, from the scope of Information Science. In addition, it seeks to offer initial perspectives so that the treatment of indigenous information is carried out in an efficient and historically reverent way. |
